Registration date for CURATEcamp 2011

Another year, another opportunity for digital curators and technologists to exchange ideas and build community. We're announcing the registration date for CURATEcamp 2011: Monday, May 2nd, 2011.

Please join us at CURATEcamp 2011, an unconference connecting practitioners of digital curation with technologists and software developers. The 2011 camp will be held on campus at Stanford University on August 15th and 16th. The registation fee is $125 and includes lodging -- one bed in a double room in Stern Hall -- and meals from dinner on the 14th until lunch on the 16th. You are responsible for your own travel arrangements and for off-campus lodging arrangements should you prefer a hotel to the included dormitory.

Space is limited to 120 registrants, and registration opens on May 2nd. The registration link will be announced and shared on that date.

CURATEcamp 2011 is generously sponsored by the Pennsylvania State University; the University of California, Los Angeles; Indiana University; and the Digital Library Federation (Council on Library and Information Resources). To keep costs low, we are also soliciting additional sponsors. If your institution is interested in fostering community around the practice of digital curation, please contact Katherine Kott.

More information about CURATEcamp is available at curatecamp.org.
